I know this is an old thread but I haven't been here for quite a while, and am interested in this proposed camera.

I yearn to shoot 4X5. I had one once, but mistakenly bought a monorail view, and for my purposes I need a field camera, but cannot now afford one.

So I'm hoping that (a) these folks make it, and that (b) they manage to make one that I can afford.
