Dear Everyone (I suppose this is the best way to do this
),
I am very glad to find a place where traditional techniques are affirmed and loved by all. I love black and white. I love developing my own.
On to other things you might want to know. I dabble in 35mm (Canon TLb), medium format (Seagull twin lens, don't gape please), and am going to explore large format hopefully soon (Poco no 18 5x7, my grandfather's). I enjoy making cyanotypes, partly because it is cheap, partly that I have control over it, and partly because I like blue.
As far as personals, I am currently a student (2nd year college) hopefully majoring in astronomy, and live in El Cerrito, just a tad north of Berkeley.
I hope to learn a lot and enjoy my stay here.
