Mudman, it shure is a great find.
A Rolleiflex with a Tessar, we call it a Rolleiflex B in Europe.
Great camera's, have a 2.8F myself.

Well, this is a neg scan since I haven't made it to the darkroom recently, but it is a straight scan, just contrast and sharpening. Taken on the North Shore of Lake Superior with my new Rolleiflex Automat MX with a Tessar.

Oh my.. those shots above are soo tree dimensional. I love that so much. If only I had muchos pesetas I'd buy me a nice and shiny Rolleiflex.

A couple color images. Both scanned RA-4 prints

Space Age Lodge, Gila Bend, AZ -- could not resist photographing this a decade or so ago. My boys and I had breakfast here a couple weeks ago when we sort of stumbled across it again. Taken with the MX-EVS

Oak, Highway 49, California -- nice surprise along the road during Springtime. Taken with the 2.8F

I join the party

Showing images here embedded doesn't seem to work for me

I have attached it

It was taken with my Rolleiflex Automat (K4A). I don't use it anymore. I have a 3.5F now.

Great show you guy's !

And then to think that many if not most of your camera's are more than 50 years old.......
These camera's can, with some love and CLA, outlive us all, try that with the modern d-stuff.

two after work shots, quite ok for ISO 50 without a tripod.
I have to re-do at least the 2nd photo with B&W film. It is quite hard to do this with velvia, as the building is normally something in between neutral grey and white. The bluish light from heaven just doesn't suit and velvia over-reacts here in my opinion.

the work on this thread is really, really nice and an example of what these 50+ years cameras and their current owners can do. hopefully, we are just taking care of these Rolleis for the next generation of owners.

here are two shots from a trip to the Maine coast. i feel bad posting them alongside the fine work here.

1959 3.5F, Model 1 + f3.5 Planar -- meter still working perfectly!
