Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams, Natural Affinities, exhibition catalog, 2008, 175 pages, 50 color O’Keeffe plates, 50 B&W Adams plates, additional B&W images with text. Three expert essays. Book 10 3/8” square. Hard cover book in excellent condition. Dust jacket excellent except dark spot where price tag was peeled off. $16 plus $6 postage

A Handfull of Dust, David Plowden, 2006, 76 B&W plates, Book 10” x11½”. Hard cover book in excellent condition. Dust jacket excellent. $15 plus $5 postage.

New England Days, Paul Caponigro, 2002, 57 B&W plates, 79 pages, 8 ¾” x 9 ¾”. Soft cover book published by Portland Museum of Art, so I am guessing it accompanied an exhibition, but I have not found that it says that. Very good condition, some dust on page edges. $12 plus $3 postage.

Wynn Bullock, Photography: A Way of Life, 1973, 160 pages, 84 plates, 9 ½” x 10 ¾”. Text by Barbara Bullock-Wilson. Hardcover excellent condition. Dust jacket very good with book sellers clear plastics sleeve. $16 plus $5 postage.

Odyssey, The Photographs of Linda Conner, 2008, 142 plates, 11 3/8” x 12 ¼”. Hardcover book in excellent condition. Dust jacket a little dirty with rough corners. $18 plus $7 postage.

Annie Leibovitz, Women, Susan Sontag, 1999, 118 plates color & B&W, 10” x 13”, hard cover dented at corner, dust jacket rough. $16 plus $8 postage

I hope someone will step in with the history. I have no idea why they are all called plates, but every art book my painter wife and I have, hundreds of painting and photography books, have a section, which is the main purpose of the book, to show in as large a size as the book format will permit, high quality images that are significant to the work of that artist(s).

Or, since I am a retired salesman, and the purpose of this thread is to move some duplicates off my shelf, if you will just send me $16 for the book and $6 for postage, I will send you the remaining unsold example, Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams, Natural Affinities, with fifty color plates and 50 B&W plates.
