Hello all,

Long time lurker, first time posting so apologies if this is in the wrong place, I thought it miscellaneous enough...

I've come into possession of a Paterson Universal Super System 4 tank with reels on the cheap but it didn't have a lid.

It's not a massive issue as I have a System 4 tank with lid for when I want to invert and not agitate.

I would however like to 3D print a replacement lid so if anyone would be willing to take a few moments and take some critical dimensions for me I would be very grateful - I can't find anything online or on the usual 3D model repositories.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply.

Indeed they are and I'd already seen those - I paid less for the two reels, tank and agitator together than what a new lid costs

I would still like to model one and upload to a 3D repository as I am sure that it would potentially benefit others out there who wish to do the same.

If I had a pair of calipers, I would have included dimensions with the reply .
I would guess that the precise size and angle of the seals themselves would be the critical part.

I can measure the lid up for you. What are you using for cad modeling? Just curious, I am a Machinist and use cam and cad software some, and I rather enjoy the process.

I happen to have a LID which no longer has a corresponding TANK.

Would you like the lid?

First, there are 2 versions of the Paterson tank. The one Nodda pictured is different than the one in the OP's link.

I have one that is the same as the OP's link in my hands as I write this. There are a few critical dimensions to replicate and, from what I can see, not realistic to measure with the dial calipers I have. You also would need to measure the angle of that inner ring. Finally, it is a soft plastic (such as food containers for leftovers); I don't know if that can be duplicated with a 3d printer.

That said, it would be great to have a 3d model of each of these lids.
