Hi guys!
I recently played with two different kind of Prakticas. The first one (Mtl5b) full manual, while the second one was electronic and had Aperture priority exposure.
Two different ways to approach photography, joined togheter by the fame of the Pentacon brand.
Both worked very well for me!

I have several BX20 bodies and a small selection of lenses. They are decent cameras, for the price, and I enjoy using them.

I bought a Praktica LTL new in about 1974 and used and accidentally abused it for many years. No failures, despite having been bounced off a sidewalk! The camera fared better than I did in that incident. I recently hauled it out after perhaps 25 years of storage and found the shutter sounded accurate; the excellent f1.8 50mm lens needs a CLA, the diaphragm is sluggish. Not bad for a GDR camera! Built like tractor, comrade!
