Selling a very beautiful M2 camera that works wonderfully with no issues, everything smooth, bright and clear viewfinder, accurate rangefinder. The cosmetics are exc+ with only some light meter marks and maybe a few light other bright marks here and there. The vulcanite is original and 100%. There are no dings or dents anywhere and the edges of the camera, all of them, are perfect (that's always been very important to me, a camera fondler
. While this is a beauty in silver, it would be an excellent candidate for a black paint job since there would be no cosmetic surgery necessary. This is a very smooth operator and does not need a CLA. $790.00 shipped in USA. (buyer pays any fees, I accept paypal, google pay, or USPS money orders)
The VCII (2) meter is available if the buyer wants it, add $200 to the price of the camera.
By the way, I've always liked the Leica meters, especially the MR4 meter, but this VC II meter is great, it is VERY accurate, and easy to use. You push the back button when you have it pointing to your subject, and then it stores the proper reading inside for plenty of time (~10 seconds) while you to check it and adjust whichever dial you prefer until the light moves from an arrow to the center, then you can select your shutter speed/aperture from the 5 available combinations that are next to each other on the dials, so nice! And you can see it is quite small and looks good on the camera. I recommend one for anyone using a non-metered camera who wants an accurate meter.
