Kodak's Tmax 400 is the only other ISO 400 8x10 B&W sheet film out there. Kodak's Tri-X is ISO 320 and everything else is slower than that.

Marc,

For a while there was the R3 offered as 8x10. De stock at Maco has gone, de production is been ceased, but perhaps you'll find a box somewhere.

Furthermore there was the NP 27 offered by Wephota. Isn't your neighbour Argus offering it?

It was the non-availability of NP27 that made me thinking
and post this message.

I talked to Argus. It's not discontinued, only due to production problems not available at this moment So I was looking for another make ...

Try FOMAPAN 400 sold by www.fotoimpex.de (=ADOX), this is a APUG sponsor, or, even better, call Geert Vanden Broek from www.sheetfilm.be at 0479/678560, also a APUG sponsor and Belgian, I do not know if he has 400 ASA film, but he might help you.
One should always try the sponsors first!

Good luck,

Philippe
