Hey it actually works...
Here's one of the negs taped real quick and dirty like to my monitor screen which I set to a white background to act as a light box. I shot it hand held with the DSLR I keep around mainly to take pictures of my film cameras. This was taken on Fuji HR-U x-ray film which I'm going to have to learn to deal with a bit better but I managed to develop one of the negatives without any scratches. I took two shots but managed to come away with three negatives. It turns out I accidentally doubled the sheets loaded into one side of the film holder. This film has no anti-halation layer and is see through in it's unprocessed state (which I know because it can be handled under safe-light conditions) so both sheets received an exposure. The negative that was underneath isn't as dense of course but it seems still useable and it shows an strange soft focus effect that I think might look interesting when I see it as a positive. We'll just have to see.
