8x10" bellows issue

Perhaps this is the right place to ask this...

A question for the owners of Plaubel Peco (Profia?) 8x10" cameras. What are the inner dimensions of the bellows frame? On the bellows I have, the dimensions are 246 x 246 mm (see attached pictures). Could this cause mechanical vignetting on the longer side of 8x10" format if using a lot of shift? Are there in fact two versions of bellows for Plaubel cameras, imperial and metric?

yes, mechanical vignetting is always a possibility, but the camera standard can also cause this.

Any lens with a large enough image circle will physically vignette if the camera has enough movement.

Is there a particular problem you are encountering?

Yes, according to the links above they made a 9 x 24cm camera. Perhaps you have a bellows for that camera.

What I thought to do is adapt the bellows to a Sinar P (non-MB) 8x10" frame, using the measurements from a connecting frame of Sinar bag bellows, to make my own wooden connecting frame and epoxy it to these Plaubel bellows. But the "aperture" really seems to be made for 24x24, i.e. metric (18x24cm) format. Even the huge image circles of my 250-500mm projection lenses will probably be obstructed by the edge of the inner frame if using a generous amount of shift. Guess I know now why the bellows were so cheap... Thank you for your answers anyway.
