Hello,
I am testing any interest in purchasing a set of 3x 8x20 film holders (I also have a 8x20 Wisner technical field camera, but might hold onto that for now, for sentimental reasons).
Holders are Great Basin Photographic brand - a company which I believe was active in Nevada years ago, but no longer in business.
The holders have a unique design which I personally really like - instead of end flaps which flip out for inserting film, there are two notches built into the ends which allow you to bend and tuck the notch end of film into the holder. (No bending flaps = less possibility for light leaks).
The holders are light tight and in good condition. Solid wood with no cracks in dark slides. The springs in the light baffles are in good shape.
I'm looking for $400 US for each holder.
I have 3 holders total.
The measurements fit a Wisner 8x20 view camera, not sure what other brands they'd accommodate, but here are the measurements:
Outer dimensions are 22 875" long x 9.625" wide. The distance from the notch end of holder to the ridged light baffle is approx. 21.5".
