Ebay is better. I used to go when I lived in nyc
I think the dealers use ebay too...might be good for finding odd items like filters

I went a couple of years ago, but have not gone since. There were a fair number; maybe if you call they can be more specific. - David Lyga

Canceled due to bad weather.
AAARRRRGGGG! Well, from Michigan, I wasn't going to go anyway, but for those locally, I'm sure it was a disappointment. We used to have big camera shows here in SE Michigan - put on by Sam Vinegar under the name of Photorama. http://www.photorama.com/ Sam is gone now, but his son, Abraham is continuing. The thing is, there doesn't seem to be the interest there once was. Back in the 80's the show would fill a convention center, and the attendees would be non-stop all weekend. Today, it's a banquet room in a hotel, and not a great crowd. I don't think the digital camera enthusiasts are into this as much, and, there's not as much to be into as film photography. Just think of all the darkroom equipment that digital photographers don't need. A camera, a computer, and, maybe, some lights.
Maybe that's why I find film so much more fun.

Since I do not have a computer at home (!!!) I must rely upon libraries. I was not able to notify people of this BEFORE the intended opening on Sunday morning. I feel bad about that but since I am not paid for advertising this show, I feel that that is at least a partial excuse. - David Lyga

PHSNE Photographica is coming up in a few weeks, for those who would like to visit Boston in February as an alternative.

I can't recommend the area weather at that time, nor say that it will be any better than Wayne NJ's in January, but the show is usually pretty good.

I think that that show is Saturday, 8 APRIL, not in February. I just looked it up. - David Lyga
