To anybody out there....

Does any manufacturer, anywhere, still offer 70 mm? I've got a gorgeous Pentax 645 back that I would like to use for something other than a paperweight.

I realize demand for this product slipped off the end of the earth, and I missed the chance to have had the experience with it. There is some available on E-Bay and perhaps at B&H, but this is the Type I film, which is non-perforated. The Pentax back needs Type II perforated film, which is I believe extinct. I can certainly survive with 120/220, but I just have to know for sure that 70mm has bit the big one forever. Thanks...

Movie film. You might look for recans but color would prove difficult to find. Try ebay too. I see portra and black and white on there now for a song.

For the movie industry the camera film is 65mm. It is printed on 70mm stock which has extra area outside the perfs for the soundtrack.
