Any 6x6 projector will work for 6x4.5 slides. The mounts are the same size.

The mamiya pro cabin 67 will project 6x7, 6x6, and 6x4.5 with the proper attachments.

Slide projectors for formats larger than 6x6 are scarce.

I'd consider cutting a 6x7 transparency down to 6x6.

Have you thought of trying one of the old overhead projectors? They should do a decent job.

I have a LOT of E6 film in my freezer, which will get shot once I find a 6x7 projector. Frankly, they are VERY rare in my city.

Sometimes I think about converting a RB67 into a projector. Perhaps by the following arrangement:

screen -> RB67 lens ---> RB67 camera without back --> slide --> (regular 35mm projector used as lamp, by projecting what would be an empty slide)

Ebay doesnt seem to have any? Btw, if one does look for projectors, what exactly does one need to look at?

Gepe hasn't had 6x7 mounts for at least a year though they may be shown on the website. I'd love to be proven wrong.

Gepe does still list a few boxes of the 6x7 mounts from time to time. I emailed them this past spring in regards to them and they said they would have some in stock in a few weeks. Well it took a few months but they did list around 15 boxes of 10. So keep checking you might get lucky and find them in stock.

All LF slide projectors i know have vertical slide stages (perpendicular to the projection axis).

6x7 projector

If you do not mind changing slides manually, try the old manual hasselblad medium format projector since the slide carrier is adjustable, taking 6x6 and 6x7. Incedently, dispite the difference in external finish, this projector was thr same as the prado 500 made by leitz and uses a leitz projection lens, the only real difference being the adjustable carrier.

Ok from my understanding so far there's the rollei p11 which will shoot up to 6x6 and can hold 30 frames. The cabin 667 is fully manual. Is there anything that will shoot up to 6x7 but can hold some frames so it's not all manual? Thanks.

You are referring to a an episcope, where typically the reflective photograph/drawing/book is placed horizontally (with the optical axis horizontal too).

There also are combinations of slide and print projector. They are called epidiascope.

Macfred and I were referring to large format (up to 24x24cm) slide projectors. (Typically used for projecting slides at buildings.)
