I have bought an wine bottle wooden box with hinges and lock to make my 6X24 Panoramic Pinhole camera. My friend have an 3d printer but told me he will be busy for least one month. I decided to build the internals from model foam but I have no experience with the market , what kind of architect model making foam I should obtain. Each Rail will be 5mm thick and mostly there is styrofor. I am looking for laser cutting and I dont now that foam is flat and even or with valleys. I will buy foam from stationary.

5mm model foam is not very rigid. Especially over a 24cm span. On the other hand, for a pinhole camera there is no critical focus requirement.

I suggest that you use plywood. Can also be laser cut. More rigid. Aim for 10mm thick if possible.

When will you show results from the numerous projects for which you ask advice on this forum?

 While I would also love to see the results, it is not mandatory to present the results to us. Some of these project ideas are interesting and often result in useful discussion.

Possibly insulation foam from a building suppply store. These can run from 6mm up in thickness. One small sheet should give you what you need.

I would actually first talk to a laser cutting shop and find out what they can source for you. One issue is that depending on the laser and the ventilation system, there are many materials that can't be cut by laser due to corrosive gases that eat the machine and/or neighbors who end up breathing poison. As mentioned, plywood is another choice and won't have these concerns. Even 3mm ply will likely work fine.
