620 film from abroad....

I bought some re-spooled 620 film for my dad to use in his Kodak brownie. I got it from the Film Photography Project in USA. We had the first roll developed and you can faintly see the text from the backing paper on each image. I can't remember if the box had any "do not x-ray" stickers, but if they've been x-rayed could this cause this?

I used their re-spooled film once. It had major problems...I'm guessing light exposure during their re-spooling process? It was a mess.

Sorry I did a search but nothing came up, maybe the 620 bit confused it. Will have a look at that thread.

The film seems fine, I was doubtful about it being re-spooled. I'd be interested to find somewhere in the uk that does it

Respooling 120 to 620 is rather straightforward. I seem to recall a couple of web pages or YouTube videos explaining how. I haven't done respooling for a while but did so in a changing bag and it generally took only a few minutes.
