I’m wondering how people here who shoot 5 x 7 store their negatives. I’ve always used archival storage sheets but now that I am shooting 5 x 7 that is not apparently an option. How do you keep your 5 x 7 negs organized and safe?

There are 5x7 PrintFile sheets; I’ve had a little trouble finding them sometimes, but at the moment it looks like B&H, Amazon, and Freestyle all have them.

Attached is an example -- I keep all the image info with the negative. (and also the platinum print from the 5x7 neg for fun). I use them for 4x5, 5x7, and 8x10. Stored in appropriate-sized clamshell boxes.
I do have Kodak clear plastic sleeves for the 11x14 negatives.

I file the negatives or transparancies in Kodak 5x7 Sleeves and then store them in 5x7 film boxes

5x7 Glassine neg sheets for me, 2 negs per sheet, then stored in the drawer system with the rest of my life's work.

All my LF negatives are stored in clear Print File sleeves. These are stowed in separate color coded bins

For all negatives and transparencies (whether 5x7, 4x5, 120 roll or sheet, or 35mm) I put my negatives in a 'fold flat' negative sleeve, then put the sleeve into a polyester negative storage sheet before storing the sheet in an archival binder. All of these products can be purchased from Print File or other sources.

The 'fold flat' negative sleeves must be trimmed to fit the negative sheet. Using the negative sleeve eliminates sliding the necked negative into the pocket of the negative sleeve - reducing the possibility of scratching the negative - which has happened in the past.

This is expensive but most of my photography is for archival purposes plus I am not a prolific shooter.

I'm revisiting this topic. I've purchased the Maco photo products glassine negative sheets for my 8x10 negs. I own various "archival" pens and pencils. What are the thoughts regarding taking notes on the glassine sleeve itself?

Be sure the the writing on glassine is not in contact with the negative.

FWIW, Don't think glassine is archival.

These are the product I purchased.

Had I looked at them prior to posting, there's an extra space below the main negative area where one can write all sorts of stuff. They do not fit into the Besfile storage binders though. If I stick with these for storage, I will need the Dotline oversized storage binder. Oh well.

I use print file polyester fold flap sleeves. I wont use anything that requires you to slide the negative into the sleeve because I have seen scratches with such systems

Lots of choices, I've used several different sleeves. B&H & Freestyle have lots of selection for you.
I like the sleeves in one of the available storage boxes
