Well - I know 5x7 is a format wich is not in use much often.
This was still the situation 10 years ago
were I bought some Kodak E100G E6 packs in 13x18 cm as a very cheap offer.
It was exposed stuff but only exposed 2 - 3 month.
To this time I asked myself : "How many professionals are using this?
And how many will have a risk on high quality productions shootings with exposed stuff? "
The answer was simple to this time :
None of them will do this ! Therefore the best price
....!
But now all 5x7 in c41/E6 films are discontinued since years.
Is there any chance to manufacturers to relaunch this format.
In bw it is no problem to get it.
Ilford will assemble any format in bw on demand (from pre orders) so they anounced to all years still today as far as I know.
8x10 is also avaible in color to a couple of films.
But 8x10 is definitivly not the format to me - I have to state.
Could it be soo expensive to cut some 5x7 sheeds in adition to 4x5 / 8x10 cuttings wich are also with a very smal demand ?
I can't believe that the demand to 5x7 is on zero (in color).
What do you are thinking about it this ?
Is there anybody willing to shot some
color in addition to his bw 5x7 ?
with regards
