Hi folks, I'm thinking of shooting more 5x7 and was curious if anyone had a solid 5x7 setup they'd be interested in letting go of.
Ideally I'd like a setup that can shoot vertical orientation easily.

Suggest a Graflex Home Portrait camera. Not easy to find, not cheap, but fantastic. As used by Edward Weston and Paul Strand.

Might consider a Canham KBC (I use one with a 4x5 reducing back), which can be set up for 5x7 simply by swapping out the back. The camera itself is designed to work interchangeably with Cambo/Calumet/Graflok parts, so a vast array of accessories made by those brands are compatible without modification. For example, you can attach a Cambo revolving ground glass back for vertical composition and shooting (I have one of these and they are marvelous).

a shame he isn’t making the 5x7 anymore. Everytime i’ve seen one pop up, it’s been sold in less than 24hrs

Obviously a new back is needed but I somehow overlooked the Grafex lens on it! 🥺

Most likely had a 4x5 reducing back on it at one time.
