55mm Filter Adapter ???

Operating On A Low Budget, Or No Budget, Unfortunately.

Attempting to find a 55mm filter adapter, with 55mm male threads on both sides ?
Does it exist ? Or should I epoxy two 55mm adapters, and keep it really simple ?

They used to be manufactured and you might still find one. From what you are saying, you need a 55 to 55 reversing ring.

Drop into B&H and ask for a 55-55 'macro coupler'. In stock, under $8.

They are generally used for mounting one lens front-to-front with another lens for macro work.

I have a collection of Bay 50 Hasselblad filters, and a Bay 50 to 55mm female adapter.
And wanted to be able to use the filters on lenses with a 55mm female thread.

If you could find two adapter rings for the Cokin system of the right size, you could glue them together and come up with what you want. I don't know about your locality but around here, there are plenty of them at used camera stores.
