I was considering trying to shoot 4x5 film in my Instax Wide 210. Am I crazy? The dimensions of Instax wide film are 4in x 2.4in, so I think I could fold the film in half and get two shots on one piece of film. Any thoughts?

I've an old Polaroid The 800 that I've used 4x5 film in. The film fit without need for modification, though the image size is smaller. It was a hassle to load/unload in a dark bag, but fun to use my Great Grandmother's camera.

I'd not fold the film, as it would likely damage the emulsion and give weird stress effects. You could try cutting it, but that may still cause issues, though I imagine less than folding. Ejection could also be an issue - you will want to make sure it won't spit out your film. Maybe sacrifice a piece to experiment with in the light.

Can't hurt to experiment and have fun.

Your 4x5 camera, if you have one, has a better lens, will give you a better picture, with regular film or Instax wide.
