I have started developing 4x5 film on hangers in tanks and like the results a lot, using Pyrocat with reduced agitation. My question is, can I put 2 sheets back to back in each hanger, or will there be problem? I can see potential for them sticking together, but I thought I'd ask before trying it for myself. There's a little voice in the back of my head saying that it's ok, but that voice has gotten me in trouble before.

I started a thread on this topic recently. The conclusion was that this is a bad idea, based on the experience of a number of people who have tried it. The main problem is that the anti-halation dyes don't come out, so you have to separate the sheets when wet to wash them, and this causes more problems than it solves.

Here's the thread--

Thanks David, I forgot all about your previous thread. Maybe it was the voice I was listening to, stuck somewhere in the recesses of my memory. It's too bad, it seemed like a good idea.
