The Crown Graphic with the side-mounted Kalart RF arrived yesterday and the bellows are completely normal- as everyone said when I posted the jpg. of the set. It came with a very nice looking 152 mm Ektar lens ( Graphic Supermatic X) with a couple of hoods and Kodak Series VII filter lenses-Telek and Portra. The vintage instruction manual and other pamplets were printed in 1948, '49 and '50. The flash-gun looks brand new and there's a couple of unused bulbs in the case along with a Grafmatic 4x5 film holder and 4 regular Graflex 4x5 film holders. In the bottom of the case there was a few film box inserts for Verichrome, Tri-X, Super XX, and Plus-X. There's film in two of the standard holders and the Grafmatic holder has film in it as well. A small tag on the inside of the case reads:
"Property of the Upjohn Corp
401 N. Broad St.
Phila. Pa."
The camera is in VG user condition but the original case, flash unit and leather handstrap strap look completely unused leading me to believe the camera was used on a tripod only.
There's a 56 page booklet called "The Second Lamp" by Hugo van Wadenoyen (see jpg. image of him on one of his other books)
printed in Great Britain in 1948 by Focal Press who apparently published a number of "how-to" photography books. Focal Press had offices in New York and London and is still in business today. www.focalpress.com/
I'll post a better picture whenever I can as the seller's picture isn't too good.

I wonder how many digi-cams built in this year of '05 will still be in use 55 years from now?
