I'm getting a 4x5 point and shoot camera, and I've been trying to figure out if anyone makes a viewfinder for a 47mm Super Angulon. I've been searching for a while, and I'm not really finding anything clear cut. Viewfinders for other focal lengths are so much easier to find.

There is a Cambo wide angle viewfinder, which might work since it has changeable masks, but I'm not finding much info on what masks are available. Also, people sell these for like $600. This is more expensive than most of the lenses I own.

I'm hoping there's a more affordable option out there.

15mm finders are pretty common and should get you pretty close.

Hi,
Is your 47mm SA the XL version or the non-XL?
It's just that you haven't mentioned it.

That may be my best bet. I was hoping to find the correct aspect ratio. Maybe I can make my own mask.

I just found this in my search: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/31203-REG/Linhof_001378_45_Multifocus_Viewfinder_with.html
How can this be real? How can a viewfinder cost $2300?
Available from Linhof & Studio for £975 or about $1300 at today's exchange rate. Shipping would be about £22. See: https://www.linhofstudio.com/produc...ries/Linhof_Multifocus_Optical_Viewfinder_5x4

I have a 47mm cambo wide that I use with a 6x12 roll film back https://www.oddcameras.com/cambo_wide_470.htm and I have a simple, non-parallax-corrected viewfinder for it. as I do landscape and street photography it works very well. as far as I remember there was a guy in israel on ebay who made these on command. he made several for me for different wide cameras and it was always fine enough. it was something in the $40 range, so you don't expect precision, but I got what I need...

I'm using a Samsung digicam finder. Better built than recent Leica finders but does require awareness of mount alignment (impossible to explain)
