Let us know if you find any. Some of the Japanese sellers offer yellow filters at huge price ($40+ plus $20 shipping). It was cynical of Canon to use this semi-unique size.

I gave up on finding 40mm filters a long time ago and bought a 40mm-49mm step-up from SRB Photographic in England.

Steve I might resort to a 40-40.5 step up ring but to put a 49mm filter on a tiny rangerfinder lens seems very awkward to me
