I own and use a 4 x 5 negative holder pinhole camera and on a recent trip to Brooklyn, NY, I made a v-e-r-y long late dusk into dark evening exposure- 1 hour 35 minutes long from my rooftop viewing the Manhattan skyline. Beautiful evening. My question is would it be best to develop this negative with a diluted developer solution ( I have Hc110; Rodinal; Extol; TmaxRS developers on hand) and use a standing development approach? The film was Ilford FP4. This is by far the longest exposure I have ever made with this camera.

I would develop it the way you normally develop this film. Unless you are worried the exposure was not long enough or something.

But the best system to use is the one you always use. If you calculated the exposure the way your normally do, now is not the time to experiment.

Did you factor in any reciprocity into your exposure?

It sounds like you might be worried that the film is overexposed... but it doesn't sound like too long an exposure to me. I only use paper negatives in pinhole, but late dusk into night for 1:35 would show very little on paper ( guessing a 3 or 4 inch "focal" length ). Your film is only about 3 stops faster, less with reciprocity, so I think summicron1 is right: develop normally and hope for the best. Good luck, I hope it comes out great!
