This thread is in a 100% analog section, but is it allowed to discuss software and 3D printers in detail?

It is allowed as it does not refer to our processes of making of photographs.


(Many of our lenses are designed by means of a digital computer (since early 50s), some of our "classic" cameras contain such (e.g. AE-1), much of our equipment has been manufactured with such means. The same for our films too.

But of course we could think of establishing at Apug a die-hard forum, of course only using snail-mail.)

Thanks Agx. I'm in the process of buying a 3D printer and now involved learning myself OpenSCAD in advance, so I might post here in the near future.
