Are you going to sell these? Any chance of a 6x12cm version?

Very interesting project indeed. I would love to try it out if you don't mind sharing the design prints. I have access to a couple of nice 3D printers, including FormLabs, so would be happy to try it out.

I was wondering if a lot needs changing to accommodate a different lens? I've got a nice Zeiss Jena 80mm f2.8 that came with my Pentacon Six cam.

This is so cool!

Personally, I'd prefer the big "90mm" stamp to be on the bottom of the cone to keep the camera looking more sleek from the top.

Made a 6x12 also since some of you seemed interested
I think I will test print this one first and test it out as it will print a bit faster.

I'd suggest incorporating something that would make it really easy to add a pinhole rather than a lens.
You may also want to adjust the location of the bubble level and the cold shoes, so as to permit having a cold shoe in the centre, right above the "lens axis". That makes using an auxiliary viewfinder more reliable.

I can add pinhole attachment, just let me know the distance from the pinole to the film you want.
I moved the cold shoes so one is on the lens axis and one to the left and the bubble level to the right.
Now I just have to figure out the pressure plate before doing a test print.

In reality , here , 3d printing is very expensive , price per cubic centimeter cost 1 dollar or so. How many cubic centimeters does someone need to pay , is the real question. I think plywood 6x17 camera costs 1/50 of this. say i m wrong and i will be very happy.

I have my own printers so I only need to buy the filament so it won't be that expensive.
It will take about 500gram of filament for the hole camera so it will cost around 15-20$, for the 6x12 version.
I did think of making the box of wood and just print the cone and some of the parts mainly to save on time as it will take just shy of 30 hours to print all of the parts.

Hi OeT. Jyst wondering if you are planning to share the digital blueprints with other ppl or are you keeping it proprietary?

I would be interested in testing it if you will allow. I have access to a few printers right now. Would of course send comments and suggestions.

I usually upload my projects on thingiverse so this will probably end up there to.

Made a test print today unfortunately I ran in to some problem and had to abort 1/3 in to the print.
But it gave me the opportunity to take some measurements and adjust accordingly, the coldshoe was way to tight and I had forgotten about the the tripod threads.

I changed the nozzle on my printer to so it went from 16 hours down to 9 hours.
Just hoping the print quality won't be too bad because of that.

Looking good already? A quick question, are you planning to implement light seals in the case?

Yes I'm trying to at least.
The "boarder" around the film compartment is meant for the light seal and there is a matching indentation on tha camera back

The camera i completely printed now and all seems fine except for it being a little tight around the film.
It is loaded like a Holga where you angle the film in place and it need just a little more room to do that, but thats an easy fix.
It would work now but the "film spindle" would have to be screwed out and in with every loading.
Now I just need to buy me a 90mm lens and try it out.

The camera is now primed and painted, to minimize light leaks.
Just need to add the light seals before testing.
Still no lens so I will go with a pinhole.
Decided to try and drill the hole instead of pinning and made a test to see the difference.

Used a 0,35 drillbit
