If you're printing Minolta 16 (10x14 mm) to 8x10 you have a lot less DOF relative to the camera focal length than if you're printing 6x9 cm from a box camera to 8x10 -- with the result that many box cameras compare favorably with the fixed-focus Minolta 16mm cameras for final print quality.
