Since the filter shown in post #27 isn’t 0.5mm pitch, 0.75mm pitch seems likely.
The Industar 61 on my Bessa L rocks very slightly in the mount. As lens and camera mounts are solid, I've always assumed this was a discrepancy between modern Voigtlander/Cosina and Soviet M39 dimensions. It doesn't move sufficiently to wear the threads or cause focus issues, but I've thought of putting a very thin shim or rubber O-ring behind the lens to damp the movement. Is this idea a goer?
The Industar 61 is a gorgeous lens. Medium contrast, lovely out of focus details and nicely made. It has a Barnack Leica look, if you had to compare it to anything. The Industar is still available new for £30-40 from FSU dealers.I've the Industar 61 amongst others, is it a good combination with the Bessa?

Hmm, that's what I thought. The rock is less than my Fuji digital camera with Fuji lens(!) so I'll live with it.This would change the focus registration. An o ring would definitely be way too much.
That's a good question. I'd be interested to know too as I'm considering a Bessa as I've a few M39 Soviet lenses.

Good idea!If the lens remains stationary I would try a strip of Teflon gasket tape, cut to the width of the thread.
The 39mm O56 Nikon filter shown in post #27 is most likely intended for one of the long focal length Nikon lenses that used screw-in rear filters. Older versions of Nikon filters had chrome-plated rings. Nikon later switched to black rings.......
