Manual Focus Nikon 500mm f4 P AIS ED. Link to pictures:

• a really fun and interesting bright nikon telephoto prime. I believe this was one of nikon's last professional manual focus lenses ever introduced.
• Overall in fine user condition with some external signs of wear but nothing significant
• aperture is clean and responsive
• optics are free of any cleaning marks and very clean but there is some very very light etching (hard to see) from long gone fungus. This etching does not impact your images
• original trunk/case included
• original hood included
• aperture lock works and CPU contacts are clean (Yes! This is a nikon manual focus lens with an aperture lock and CPU contact pins!)
• $390 plus shipping or I will consider trades for anything from FujiFilm in any format or infrared film.

This lens does have a tripod collar and the lens takes 39mm drop in filters and I believe there are no front filter threads.

Before I left Nikon I had one of these - it is an excellent lens in IQ and build quality. The price is crazy good. GLWS

Why can't seller's put full size pictures here? Even with the size limit they are plenty sharp enough for a monitor. The links never work for me so I always end up passing on something I might be interested in.

this lens was from the AFD era, by that point nikon was no longer making or installing rabbit ears in their lenses. If you are a serious buyer I can tap and install rabbit ears in this lens as nikon still provided guides for installing rabbit ears.
