35mm: Qualities of favorite glass for Kodak Tri-X


Well that's an issue, if you want M42 or Nikon F lens, Pentax, Fuji, Zeiss, Leica, Contex and Nikon were all sharp lens, as 35mm was such a small negative compared to 8 X10 which was still a common format for commercial work when the Nikon F was released in 1959. There were a few soft focus lens made in 35mm for a soft look for portiurates, not sure if Nikon made one or not. Off beat idea, Arugs C3, with 100mm Cintar 3 element lens shot wide open.
 
Have any K-mount lenses stood out to anyone when shooting Tri-X, such as one of the three FA Limited primes from Pentax?
