35mm insert for 4x5 film holder

I know nothing about3D printers but find this idea facinating. I would think of going a bit further. Why not start from the ground up and make a holder that has on one end a container to hold a 35mm film canister, on the other end a take up canister. And a simple mechanisim to advance the film using the sprocket holes. And then a simple rewind knob. It would be no big deal to mark the film winding knob and count the number of revolutions needed per exposure.
Please remember before flaming me that I said I know nothing about 3 D printing.

That'd be great, the only real reason not to is that I just don't have the skill myself to do all that in a reasonable amount of time. It's something I could imagine tackling at some point, but I have to prioritize my projects to fit within a very limited amount of free time :smile:
