This lens was made sometime between 1971 to August, 1974 (based on the serial number). It is unique in that it has a factory AI mount.
I rate this lens as BGN from KEH.com ratings.
"Bargain" 70-79% of original condition. Shows more than average wear. May have dents, dings and/or brassing and finish loss. Glass may have marks and/or blemishes that should not affect picture quality*.
The only reason it is a "BGN" is because the scuffs to the coating on the rear element. These scuffs don't effect the quality of the images to any perceivable amount. I'm sure if you put the lens on a bench and resolution tested it - sure you might see some differences - but for most work - you won't detect this in the images. Other than the scuffs on the rear element - glass is free of fungus and comes from a smoke free home. Mechanics of the lens work perfectly and are as smooth as butter. Comes with metal lens hood and caps.
$49 - price is firm.
