These little Gem style primitive petzvals were used in ancient film projectors.

So, the 10" one is f6.7. The 11" one is f7.5 and the 12" one is f8

These aren't going to swirl and do silly tricks. Just honest gorgeous bokeh on 4X5 and 5X7 portraiture.

Nice glass in all 3. These have been rattling around somewhere for years. No names but I think the 12" is a Bausch & Lomb. $55 each. Your Pick. First come, first served. Make me an offer on All 3!

They will all cover 5x7? If so, the whole set would be the way to go for LF if you have a shutter on the camera. Don't think I've ever seen such a set before.

Thanks for the inquiry. Yes, they will all cover 5X7. They aren't a matched set though. More of an assemblage. Who, when, where and why are mystery. Some old guy that had a theatre and needed this span from 10 - 12 inch, perhaps?

Did I mention that the front group on each of these lenses is an achromatic doublet identical to the lenses that the soft focus world pays hundreds and thousands of $$$$$ for!! People constantly ask me, how can I get these effects without spending a gazillion dollars? Hellow! Here are 3 different distinct personalities for a hun.

Sometimes I wonder. Am I the only person here with any imagination?? 8X10 portraits anyone??

Thanks guys. They are

SOLD!

Thanks all.

:D:D

To use these you have to figure out a way to control exposure. A Speed Graphic with curtain shutter would work. Or a front mounted Packard shutter could be used, or even an old Ilex or Betax mounted on the front would work.

Problem solving is part of the fun.
