I have two Busch pressman D's for sell. (well one is actually a tower press) I have not had these long, but was planning on keeping them as my main 4x5. In a messed up ebay transaction for another pressman D with a working kalart rangefinder, they accidentally sent me a perfect working pacemaker speed graphic. Long story short, Im sticking with the pacemaker speed graphic. So I now have these pressman's that I would like to unload.

Over all they are both in decent condition. no show piece but worthy field cameras

The Busch is in full backpacking field camera mode. The rangefinder and all connecting hardware has been removed. It still has the infinity stops and focus scale, for a 135-2. It has a ebony gg and glass cover, also has a canham gg protector. The Folding view cover is gone. Also has a coldshoe on the top. Does not include the front wire finder. Everything works on the camera. There is a little slop in the right focusing knob, the left is good, never affected me tho.

The second camera is the tower press. It has the Hugo Meyer rangefinder and it works, the contrast is a little low tho. It is for a 127 lens. It also has the focus scale for a 127 but its missing the infinity stops and the indicator for the focus scale. The original GG is cracked in the lower left corner. The fold out hood is included but is massing the leather sides and bottom. The focus knobs are nice and have just a little slop in the left one. IT does not have a hand strap or the metal piece for it. Nor does it have the front wire sports finder.

I also have 3 lens boards. 2 are original and one is a custom made one.

I would like to sell as a pair. But i will also split up. Somebody could take the infinity stops, indicator, and strap off the Busch and put them on the tower, and make a usable rangefinder camera, the only thing that would be missing is the front wire sports finder. And that would leave the Busch with only the essentials to use as a field camera. Or just strip the tower press as another field camera.

First one to sell gets 2 lens boards, the second gets one.

Busch 200$ shipped and paypaled.
SOLD tower press SOLD

Would like to stay in the USA but i could ship outside but will have to add shipping.

Dear CJ Becker,

I am interested in the remaining Busch pressman, a few questions..

A) what copal size lensboard comes with?
B) condition of the bellows?
C) can you still purchase lensboards for this model?

Please let me know, not to sure of the private messaging operation, approx how heavy and how much to ship to Texas...

Many Thanks!
Harlequin

Every time you bump this, I think I need it. And then I have to talk myself out of it because I have no business having 4x5 stuff.

I will say, the reason I started shooting 4x5 again is because I don’t have the space for a full darkroom right now, but I do have a bathroom that I can black out and do contact prints using the vanity lights. A 4x5 contact print is perfect!

Yeah, and they provide plenty of resolution on the scanner for enlargements too.

OMG am I helping you sell this thing to me?

We’ve already been threw this. But developing 2 sheets in a tank along the sides is an easy daylight way of developing 4x5.

Would possibly trade for a 125mm 4x5 lens, hp5+ 4x5 film, new kodak e100 or anything really,

Sold one of the lens boards, have the pressman and one copal 0 lens board for sell now. How about 175$ shipped. That will get me another 100 pack of hp5.

Bump

heading on a trip soon, could use some extra cash. Any reasonable offers welcome
