What are my choices, if any, for a 250mm (more or less) relatively modern lens in shutter to cover 11x14..doesn't have to have much if any movements, it could "just" cover at infinity. Price range "around" $500 more or less in nice used condition. Any advice freely accepted.

These are the closest three that I know of:

Rodenstock Grandagon 200mm 6.8 - 64 Copal #3, 102° @ ƒ22, 495 mm @ ƒ22
Schneider Super Angulon 210mm 8 - 90 Compur #3, 100º @ ƒ22, 498.2 mm @ ƒ22
Fuji Fujinon-SW 300mm 8 - 64 Copal #3, 100° @ ƒ22, 720 mm @ ƒ22
There may be a newer Schneider lens (in the Symmar XL line?)

There's also the Kodak 10" Wide-Field Ektar, if that's modern enough for you, and it should be in your price range. I suspect the 9.5" Dagor covers as well.

The WF Ektar or the 9.5" Dagor would work..been lookin' don't see anyone with any of these to sell at the moment. The other choices in post above are far too pricy for my hobby use of 11x14. I am a pro photographer, but I only use 11x14 for my personal expression.

With a bit of patience you might be able to find a 270 G-Claron within hailing distance of your price range.

Among older candidates is the 210mm f:6.8 Angulon.

Mine just covers 12x16" at small apertures.

I picked up my 210mm Computar for $500, although I don't know if that would be possible today. I am sure that many of the 240mm repro-lenses should cover 11x14, but can't tell you which.

For size and weight nothing better than a 240mm Computar. Some Kowa Graphics in this focal length have save coverage as the same Computar. I recall Don Hutton saying somewhere that he had one of these for sale.

Grab it if still available. It will put most of the other suggestions made here to shame.

I am sending the lens off to someone this week to try out, so it may not still be for sale. If it doesn't work out I will repost it in the FS section.
