I cannot find the image circle of this lens. I can find the the image circle for the F/6.7. I know the 6.3 has a smaller image circle than the 6.7 but by how much is the concern.

Will this lens cover 8x10 with some rise and fall?

It has a 320mm image circle.
My f/6.7 version has 398mm and I don`t think I`d be comfortable with any less.

I've seen at least 2 on ebay since Jan 1. They seem to go for a pretty good price.

Yep, they are pretty often found on eBay. I paid $500 for mine last summer. What a great lens...

Wow, didn't realize these suckers commanded such a high price, I bought mine from KEH.com for $200... it was cheaper than the f/6.3 version!

My experience is that neither the f/6.3 nor the f/6.7 version covers 11X14 or 7X17.

I am curious to know if anyone has a different experience with either version with these formats?

Sandy, I have no idea, but if you want to give it a shot (haha, I'm so punny!) I'll lend you mind for a week or 2.

My f/6.3 allows no movements on 8x10. With the lens centered and focused at infinity, the circle just makes it. There is a tiny bit of light out past the corners but it's not useful...the image goes from sharp to smeared very quickly.

It is a great lens for 4x5 (and 5x7, I'm sure)...razor sharp. It's the only lens that makes every trip with me when I'm shooting 4x5. It only comes along with the 8x10 if I'm going to shoot objects close to the camera.

Best of luck.
