A recent medical scare has finally convinced me that it's time to shed weight, both my own and that of my equipment, so I'm offering up much of my larger, heavier gear over the next few months. I've never used most of this stuff, it's been in my safe awaiting my foray into 8x10 which, if it ever does happen, will use lighter and slower lenses.
The Caltar II-N line was the Calumet house-brand version of the Apo Sironar N line and came into being after Calumet switched suppliers from Schneider to Rodenstock. This 240 is in excellent condition with no obvious issues. The Copal 3 shutters works well and sounds appropriate at all speeds. The lens takes 77mm filters and comes with a Caltar rear cap, a Kaiser front cap, and the spacer and retaining ring set for mounting on a lensboard. Rodenstock specified the f/22 image circle as 350mm, giving a bit of movement for this slightly wide lens on 8x10/7x11/5x12.
