I thought I would share our current project.
My university was donated a Hunter Penrose 20x24 camera me and a group of friends took it under our wing the moment we saw it.
So far we have made a wooden darkslide and ground glass for it but I have plans to make plastic vacuum formed darkslides

We started off shooting paper negatives but they were holding us back so we purchased some kodak gen 5 film which was a great success but it was a very dense film so on thursday we got our new film which is colorlok hd 20x24 which is an orthochromatic film which is much better which we are processing in paper dev to give us continuous tones. best thing about the new film is we dont have to be in the dark to load the darkslide.

I can not post links apparently i will try again later

I will start a blog once I've got some more scans.

I can't upload picture at the moment as i haven't had enough posts. I'd love to get some high res photos up online but finding a scanner to do 20x24 is a mission.

As soon as i've got 5 posts ill put up a picture or two.

it kind of looking like a pin hole camera at the moment. the front standard is jammed higher than it should be so were getting vignetting very annoying.

I don't think so - it is a wrong lens on 20x24 . You can use it on Studio Portraits but ...

It is slightly too low actually I think the whole upside down back to front business, but yes a bigger lens would sort the problems out its only a 540mm lens and i want a 700mm but they aren't the cheapest.

could you post a video, maybe? I've always wanted to see what the process of using an ULF camera would be like compared to a 4x5.
