Hope to see you in Pittsburgh!

Is there going to be a walkabout-type workshop this time? Just hanging out and shooting in Pittsburgh?

And I can't wait. I'm hoping to make both days of lectures even if I have to invite my in-laws to watch Nate (hubby will be at training). They'll get the tougher end of the deal.

I kept telling myself I wasn't going to make this one. I was lying to myself. I'm in. look forward to another great time in Pittsburgh. Bill Barber

nsurit, Glad to see you're returning!

Winger, I'm working on pulling together the traditional photo-walk now (stay tuned!) -- negotiating some interesting stuff for it right now

bvy - all workshops are open to anyone registered for the conference- until they sell out (and the tintype is already 1/3 of the way to being sold out!)

Cheers!

Reminder
Today is the last day for the discounted symposium registration rate!

If you're wondering why F295 costs more than nothing, it's because F295 speakers receive an honorarium for speaking. Workshop leaders generally take home more than half of the cost of the workshop. No one is making a lot of money, but it's our aim to not have speakers/instructors lay out money to fund the event.

F295 is trying to change the trend of asking artists and teachers to work for free. Your attendance helps to continue with that mission.

Also, on the site today we begin an occasional piece that features quotes from past speakers and attendees on "Why F295?"
