Dear All,

Just to let you know, the ULF orders are in and collated, as usual we will make all sheet film options as ordered but on the slit film width's we did'nt get the full MOQ's ( Minimum order quantities ) on some items..... BUT..... it has been decided to avoid some of the confusion we had last time that HARMAN will make regardless of order volume, so no matter which slitting you ordered it will be manufactured and you will get it.

Many thanks to all who have ordered under the 2014 ULF and custom manufacture run and a big thank you to our re-seller partners.

Well that is impressive. I don't even shoot large format but that is a great deal for all those who do. Thank you.

Going beyond! fantastic, I hope your staff manages to make all while avoiding the expected waste. Maybe on of the dealers can take the overage rolls on consignment or something.

That sort of thing costs money, so it's not a decision that Ilford would take lightly. Either they're planning on doing an MOQ and putting the leftovers in storage, selling them gradually or on consignment, or they're just going to do what's ordered and deal with the financial hit in return for goodwill and Kudos.
The fact that they even considered any of these options is the sign of a financially healthy company, for which all of us should be thankful. I don't need anything from the ULF run (until I build myself a 7x17), but I might just go buy another box of 8x10 FP4 as a small thankyou for Ilford still being alive and kicking (butt).

That's what I did! I bought a box of 8x10 Delta100 and a box of 8x10 HP5+

It's October. Anybody know when this stuff is going to be delivered? I can't even remember who I ordered it from... have to check the credit card statements.

Just out of curiosity, was the 3.625" roll the 122? If so, kinda bummed it was not available for my order.

Simon, back in July you said that the long rolls were manufactured even if they didn't meet the MOQ. But I had one roll of the 122 width on order via Freestyle Photo, and they refunded my money saying that it wasn't being made. Was that a mistake on their part? Is there some HP5+ in that width sitting in stock?

What sizes of long rolls did and didn't get made in 2014?

I was under the impression that was the SHEET FILM that he was saying they decided to cut even with one order as a courtesy.

But that the roll film (because of waste) was still being held to a minimum order. And I think 122 was the only size not cut? Seems every year they try to cut 122 and not enough people sign up.

Am I correct in thinking that film for 122 would also work for 118 (3 1/4 by 41/4) I might be onboard this year for some if so. What are you going to use for backing were you to get some? recycle old rolls? btw the spool for 118 is 3.474" according to wikipedia. My Camera is a #3 Folding Vest Pocket with a B&L rapid rectilinear. Sharp as a tack.

No, 118 is a different width than 122. I have Nikor reels for both, and 118 is definitely narrower.

Does anyone have a 122 take up spool they can measure? What is the difference in size between the Nikor reels? It must be very close as they are both listed as 3.25 wide in lots of places.
