Dear All,

I have had a few pm's on ULF recently ? The Board of HARMAN technology Limited / ILFORD Photo today approved the 2012 ULF Film manufacture. The 2012 Run will be exactly as previous years where no matter how many of any individual item are ordered ( even one ) they are guaranteed to be manufactured by us. I will confirm all the details later along with our ULF partners list who kindly handle the orders, but the product list will be as previous years, if you want another size put on it please pm me. Order windows and shipment dates are also expected to be the same.

Absolutely fantastic.

Congratulations Steve. What or whose 7x17 did you get?

Thanks Simon. Can't run these critters without film.

Great, really great Simon, Thank you for you and Ilford

John,

Actually traded for the Canham Will Whittaker had with 6 holders. It used to belong to Clay Harmon.

Cheers, Steve

Just in case you're not aware, you can buy 11x14 HP5 Plus from stock at B&H. Not this week, of course, because of the holiday, but it's a regular item for them.

+1

I don't shoot ULF, not yet anyway, but this is an incredible service for Ilford to be offering, and suggests that they are also "right sized" to serve the analog community in the future. I like Ilford products in general anyway. This is a good reason to support them more.

Funny. I have Clay Harmon's RH Phillips 7x17. The only person I know who has had a greater variety of 7x17s than Clay is Lois Conner. I heard she has been through four. Just a story, can't verify.

Excellent news!!

So... about that trial box of FP4+ coated on GLASS we were discussing earlier, in another thread?

....but the product list will be as previous years,

Oh...

Never mind! Even though I don't shoot ULF myself, it is really great that Ilford do this.

I'm a soon to be 11x14 ULF user, when I get the new bellows attached, but I already have 4 25 sheet boxes of FP4. I have been using it in 4x,5x, and 8x10. It's simply the best choice for me.

Where is the product list? I saw one somewhere from last year, but can't remember where...

Ed

ULF = Ultra Large Format.

tomalophicon was making a joke.

I'm assuming RLF = Really Large Format.
