Kathy, it is not called spot tone anymore. Marshalls does make a dye substitue. Looked it up, Freestyle etc. has it.
I agree with Vaughn, my tone is very well hidden from my students. they will have to learn on the "substitues"

Thanks so much. They are pallets used as a ramp out to the shack in the background. The watermen of the Cheasapeake bay keep their crab pots and such out in shacks. I am glad you like it.

I think I totally failed to acknowledge the two prints I received. And unfortunately I've now moved and they're hiding in portfolios/files so I can't comment further on them. I remember Katherine's one came with a lovely letter and the print was stunning. The other print (really sorry for not remembering who sent it to me now!) was received some time before that. I'll hunt for them soon. Stuff still a mess even though we moved in a month ago

I just received my print and I love it. The cow's face is classic. I do not know if you ever looked at my bio etc. I am from Texas orginally and I used to live on a ranch. This is the perfect print for me. It will be framed and sit just below my cat tails from Vaugh.

I love cows - they're the most curious animals I know, although I wish they didn't slobber so much! I'm glad you like it - my black and white attempts didn't work as well as the colour ones, but I have to say it's one of the few photos that I've taken that really makes me smile.
