Hi everyone,

Finally, we are publishing the details of the destination trips we are organizing 2008.

We are announcing two trips for now. First trip at the end June will take you to Le Bez, France to explore quiet and hilly sceneries of the countryside. This trip will have a workshop component to expand your photographic possibilities.

Also, we are organizing a longer trip to Japan in September, visiting a smaller city and fishing towns along with Japan Sea. There will be a plenty of place to see and photograph throughout this trip. I am organizing various activities to experience a part of the cultures such as zen meditation followed by Buddhist lunch at a temple, participating local harvest festival, and meeting photography enthusiasts from each local to exchange images and ideas.

We also have provided more images from each destinations to give visual experience of the trips. Ones from Japan are from my trip in December visiting the area. I was traveling a 4x5 with a 6x12 back and a 35mm point and shoot. I want to take 7x17 this time. There is so much to explore in the countryside of Japan!

We still have openings left for both trips. Feel free to contact me directly if you would like to inquire more details of each trip.

Warmly,
Tsuyoshi

Looks like Japan trip is going to happen!

Hi,

Looks like we are meeting the minimum number of travelers for the Japan Trip in September. We are excited to be able to offer this two week trip in Japanese countryside specifically for photographers

We are conducting another informational session on June 12th as part of 2nd Thursday opening for our current show at the gallery. I will be there to explain the details of the trip with literature and video clip from the area.

Also, we will be adding information on a trip to 4 corners in Southwest in the coming weeks. This week long trip will drive through canyons and other points of interest in the area.

If you are interested in the trip or have questions about it, please feel free to contact us.

Warmly,
Tsuyoshi

Hi,

Finally, I can say that the this trip to Kanazawa and the Noto Peninsula is happening for sure!

There are two more seats left to join the trip at the last minutes. Most of the people who are going are shooting films!

Please feel free to contact me if you are interested or have questions.

Warmly,
Tsuyoshi

Teese trips look great. I hope one day to have the means to join you on one of these.

We're are leaving for Japan soon and will be keeping a blog leading up to and during our travels so anyone interested can check in on the experience.

We also hope to follow up on the Japan trip with a photography excursion to 4 Corners in the American Southwest this fall.

If you are interested in these trips, please feel free to contact us.

From Kanazawa

Hi,

This is the third day in Kanazawa. Weather has been a little unpredictable, but it has been very soothing experience here in Kanazawa.

We are heading to Wajima tomorrow with a bus which is three hours away. We will go further into the Noto Peninsula to explore the Japanese countryside.

Check out our blog by Tsuyoshi for the update and interesting stories.

I am back!

Hi,

I just go back from this two week trip to the countryside in Japan. The trip was very successful, and everyone was very happy about this trip.

The area we visited was simply beautiful and offered many options for photographing. Food was great especially seafood, and people were simply amazing.

You can read it more on my blog on this trip. I am working on more stories right now.

I will be off to another trip to Kyushu in a couple of days. I am hoping to run Kanazawa trip every fall and Kyushu trip every spring.

Stay tuned.
