No tripod head yes? For what size cameras would these work best?

No tripod head, the camera is directly screwed on the top.

These wooden tripods were intended for outdoor photography with 13x18cm or 9x12cm wooden cameras.
The legs are pointed, intended for soft grounds.

To indoor use, you will need to put a rubber on the ends. I recommend also to fix the opening of the legs with a cord or small chain.
