Here are 2 for you to look at. First is a Darlot, about 12" focus f3.8 - f4. I used it on the Cowboy Wedding picture. 2nd one. It is early and glass is fine or better. 30,000's serial. BF&Co. the american importer.
Price for Darlot is $965.
Next is the Hermagis #5 Portrait, also a petzval, and newer with an mechanical iris. Very pretty but these little problems to note. No flange for this, although if you buy them both the Darlot flange fits the hermagis a little bit loose, but OK / usable. Front glass tiny seperation at edges, like common. Not an issue. And also someone has obviously made the lens shade at the front a little shorter. It has been trimmed down. Looks OK but careful inspection will tell.
A few more photos available but only 4 at a time allowed here. Price for Hermagis is $785. It also is 12" f4 Both would work good for busts on 8X10, but vignette at infinity.
