I have just been given a roll of R17 from 1955-58 period to process,
if anyone is interested the story including pack shots and images on
the film after processing here: http://photo-utopia.blogspot.com/
Mark

That was my film during the late 50s and early 60s.
I've several rolls in strip kept safe in Adox combination
glassines + envelope. FRx22 was a developer used. Dan

Thanks Dan, I first used the film as a re-branded Jessops (UK camera store) they used to sell for a quid. Always liked the film, but processed in D76/ID11 sometimes in Acuspecial.
Is the packaging the same as you remember? I'd like to know if the films were really wrapped in red foil.
Apart from that it was a lovely time capsule, I have some Kodak Plus-x and Tri-x of a similar vintage from a Rollei to do next.
