FOR SALE:

1858 Holmes, Booth & Haydens Petzval 1/4 Plate Portrait Lens complete with original flange and lens cap. This beauty is serial # 4145 and dates to c. 1858 and is 1/4 plate size with a 6" focal length. Will cover 4x5 and swirl on 5x7. This lens is absolutely all original with very clean and clear glass. Tiny stress fracture at edge or rear element which is common, but not in the optical path - at edge and very small.

These early American lenses are getting harder and harder to find especially in such original condition. $ 1,175 plus shipping. Paypal/Venmo. My ebay feedback: https://www.ebay.com/fdbk/feedback_profile/antiquecamerasnet
