I made plans for Saturday right before seeing this, so I'll be catching the train in Sunday if anyone wants to meet up for coffee (or further details on when to avoid the city centre! )

Well, I've managed to corner a number of our little group at some stage or another over the past half dozen years, it must be about your turn to be babbled at mercilessly! Just remember, when you need to escape, I can be distracted by puppies and small children. Otherwise it can start resembling a hostage situation!

Molli, as far as I can ascertain, buses are operating on the Frankston line on the weekends. I just looked up the latest and mention is made of 27-28 August for buses from Mordialloc to Caulfield with that adding 45 minutes to any trip each way.

Last weekend, I was cycling past Moorabbin station and buses were operating for the weekend, so I think this could be something to look out for.

That said, before coming online this evening, we had decided to visit the exhibition on Sunday immediately after having lunch, with coffee or whatever after, then returning home. If you like, we could pick you up at Mordialloc, (I'm picking up someone else as well) head in to the exhibition, have some fun, have more fun giving Shane a hard time, have some light nosh somewhere, then head home via the bay dropping you off at Mordialloc.

Thoughts?

Email me if you wish.

Mick.

Thank you for the offer, Mick. I quite enjoy staring out of windows so if I have a longer trip or have to swap between buses and trains, it's no particular drama. I've sort of factored in a wander around the city to test an issue I'm having with a particular camera, so getting the train into Flinders Street and the half hour walk up to Ferrars and Dorcas Streets actually works rather well for me. That being said, I might take you up on a return journey lift back, with much gratitude, to whichever station suits you if it happens to be bucketing down with rain!

Coffee, a catch up and harassing Shane are all definitely still on the cards regardless of the weather! Oh, and I have this 4x5 camera of yours putting down roots in my living room....definitely need to have a chat about that!

I thought it was my job in life to help people appreciate their home life (and the inherent safety to be found in staying indoors!)?
